"Then bring it on. You're not talking actual tennis, are you?"

"Heh, no, not tennis. I mean, probably not tennis! I don't know, do you have tennis-related powers? Thought not.

I'd just punch your codes into the machine here, and see what the test pops out. We're supposed to do that with the faculty present and all that, but I can just pop your numbers in and see what comes up, y'know?"

"Right-o, then! Let me just see here..." Zandra mused, poking at some buttons in the control room.

Code: Select all
Student.  Number.  Two.  Two.  Zero.  Four.   Weaver.  Nailah.
Student.  Number.  Two.  Two.  One.  Zero.  Crusek.  Haley.

Generating scenario.... beginning analysis...scenario complete.  Beginning at Level One

Haley and Nailah would find themselves separated by a thick wall of glass, keeping them on their sides of their side of the room, at least for now. They could see through it, and be heard through it, but it was keeping them separate.

They were each in a long hallway, with a checkerboard floor. At the other end of the hallways was a door.

Small holes dotted each the wall on each side.

Nailah figures the floor is clearly pressure plates for whatever would fire out of the little holes. So instead of trying to figure out a safe path or strategy she breaks into a run and jumps as the checkerboard tiles start, wings spreading out to carry her further through the air as she aims herself at the wall, clawed feet looking to find purchase to let her run along the wall for a couple steps before pushing herself off towards the other side of the corridor to repeat the maneuver.

Nailah gets about six steps down the hallway before one of the holes makes a loud whirring noise, firing a large green paintball which slammed into her, knocking her out of the air and back to the floor.

Haley narrowed her eyes suspiciously at the holes but walked forward confidently, planning to use her TK as a bit of a deflector shield against what we was inevitably going to fire out.

More realistically the outcome would probably be that she'd smash the hell out of everything in a ring around her since finesse was not her strong suit.

Haley's attempt wasn't much better. Her TK did manage to wreck some of the holes, which was great! And more than Nailah had managed to do, damage-to-whirly things wise.

Unfortunately, her 'shield' wasn't fully around her; fluctuating and having holes in it. As such, one of the cannons locked on and shot HER before she had gotten too far.

Nailah's precognition had fired, giving her an indication as to just which hole was about to open fire on Haley.
