Sparks flew as Leo, in jumbo welder's gear and his custom mask, moved a welding torch along what it was his artistic impulses were pushing him to make this time. It was hard to make out, but it sort of looked like a face.

Ainsley slipped in and started drawing Leo without saying anything.

Mostly, he didn't want to spook him and have him accidentally melt his face off.

When Leo finally noticed his boyfriend, he shut off his torch and lifted his mask. Turning off his music, he smiled and said, "Hey there."

"I thought I'd try my hand at a bust, but I don't have a mold so I'm just winging it with scrap. Just a framework so far. Figured I go with Professor X," he said, motioning to a bunch of pictures of Xavier taped on a nearby wall.
