[Social] Looking for a Few Pointers

[Will Stanton]

Will dove through his window at the bomber, driving his shoulder into him as he knocked him to the ground.

[Narrator]

The bomber let out an 'oof' as the wind was knocked out of him, but he retaliated by trying to slap Will with a hand forming a bomb.

[Will Stanton]

Will reached out and grabbed the man's wrist.

"Want to see who comes off better? I'll give you a hint: it's me. "

[Narrator]

The man sneered in defiance, letting the explosive energy grow.

"I'm not going back to prison!"

[Will Stanton]

"You're not going much of anywhere if you do that, you know," Will said, calmly, though he tightened his grip on the man's wrist in case this didn't work and he needed to act fast.

[Narrator]

"But it's such a fun way to go, don't you think?" he grinned, but something in his eyes betrayed his faltering resolve.

[Will Stanton]

""I've been blown up before. It's fun the first couple times, but then it gets repetitive."

[Narrator]

The man sighed and let the bomb fade away.

"Not worth it if I can't take one of you self-righteous tossers with me."

The computer chimed joyously, "Mission Accomplished!"

The environment derezzed.

[Leo Eskandari]

"When you're right, you're right!" Leo laughed with a grin, "That worked like a charm."

[Will Stanton]

"Still could be more efficient, but that step from something not working to something working is a big one," Will nodded. "Congratulations!"

[Leo Eskandari]

"Thanks. But I couldn't have done it without your guidance. At least not this time."

"I think I tend towards waitin' 'til the time is right. Which pretty much tracks with my whole lion slash scorpion thing,"

[Will Stanton]

"You've got to do what works best for you, of course. No sense swimming against the tides."

[Leo Eskandari]

"Yeah, tryin' to be somethin' I'm not hasn't worked well for me. I just... hope superhero isn't one of those things."

[Will Stanton]

"If it is, you'll just have to try something else. No harm in it taking a while to figure out."

[Leo Eskandari]

"I mean, I don't want to make a lifelong career of it, but I want to try and turn what happened to me into somethin' good. And feel better about myself in the process."
