[Plot] The Curious Case of Basil Benson

[Robin Stanton]

"Wow, so they're not even doing the one potentially good thing they're claiming to do themselves? What a bunch of ding-dongs. But should be easy enough to get the info from Muir at least."

[Victor Freud]

"Well, if we're tailing and tagging vehicles, I guess I know what my assignment'll be.

"But who on this campus would Basil be close enough to recognize, but not so close that these kidnappers wouldn't have a heads up about them?"

[Chisaki Watanabe]

"They seem to be helping some people, but not any of the very heavy lifting cases you would see at Muir. It almost feels as if some of the people there could have just as easily been a student here, but were not... for whatever their reasons.

They claimed anyone that was problematic was removed from the premises, and if they were a violent problem, they were frequently sent to other facilities."

"But who on this campus would Basil be close enough to recognize, but not so close that these kidnappers wouldn't have a heads up about them?"

"Definitely not any of the four of us. Colette was his girlfriend, and I her room mate. Diego was his room mate, and Chase is his best friend. These all seem like people who would constantly be at the forefront of his mind and because of that, people that they would be looking to scrub from his memory as soon as they could."

[Robin Stanton]

"I don't really know him, but I can look like someone he might." she says with a slight shrug, realizing this would probably be kind of a weak approach.

[Samantha McManus]

"I've helped him before, and I might pick up on what they've done to him."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

Jez nodded. "Basil and I are friends, but I have no idea if we're close enough that I'd spark some memory in him or not. And I may already have a reputation among people who want to control us. With being someone that he may recognize, and also being able to poke into his head a little bit, I think Sam's the better choice over me. I just have the advantage of being able to send in a dummy in case things go sour."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, we probably don't want to send Sam in alone, even if she's the one to make contact. We should have a team already in there."

[Jezabelle Sherlock]

"I mean, I suppose I could go in with her. Two chances to jog a memory are better than one, right?"

[Chisaki Watanabe]

"Agreed.

Stanton-san, would you like to go with McManus-senpai And Sherlock-senpai, or with Freud-senpai and I to investigate tailing the vans?

Whichever you choose, Stanton-senpai can go opposite.

Diego-kun or Chase-senpai, which one of you would like to go with Freud-senpai and I? Whoever doesn't go with us will have to stay behind with Colette on this one."

[Chase Delacroix]

"Diego is most definitely better company, so I'll go with Vic. Alright with you Diego?" Chase responded.

Diego nodded. "Sounds good to me."

[Will Stanton]

"I will probably be best undercover in the club with Sam and Jez," Will said, after a moment's thought. "Robin's better suited for potential car chases."

[Robin Stanton]

"Fact." she nods. "I do have one question though. Am I san or senpai?"

[Chisaki Watanabe]

Cihsaki tilted her head.

"Will is San, they are older than either of us and they are your parent. Yes?

Or are you clones?

I try not to pry."

[Robin Stanton]

"No, he's my Dad alright. Just trying to avoid confusion."

[Chisaki Watanabe]

"Mm!" Chisaki replied a squeak of understanding, smiling at Robin with her empty, doll-eyes.

"It sounds like the club team has a starter plan in place for what they want to do.

What shall we do exactly for the vans? Stake out?"

[Chase Delacroix]

"That's what I was thinking, yeah," Chase agreed.

[Diego Zapata]

"Good call volunteering. I could not sit still that long."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"I... suppose I will... make some food for ze stakeout?" Colette wanted to contribute, but she was out of her element.

[Robin Stanton]

"Sounds good to me. Gotta stay full of energy sitting in a van for who knows how long." she groans, definitely feeling like she pulled the short straw in terms of their respective missions.

"Donuts and coffee, naturally." she nods with a chuckle.
