I2DT - A Thought Occurs

Kayla was sitting in the middle of a merry blaze in the center of the Danger Room, surrounding by an otherwise quiet wooded area. Her power flickered on and off as she attempted to manipulate the fire without being fire herself. The fire continued to merrily burn and ignore her until she became fire again. She growled in frustration, swiping her fiery hand at one of the nearby logs, leaving four jagged scorch marks across it. She held up her hand to look at it, flexing her now-clawed fingers. A brief moment of panic and then she shifted back to human, looking at her fingers. They looked perfectly normal. She inspected them, counted them, compared them to her other hand. She shifted back to fire and they remained fingers, albeit made of fire now. She made a thoughtful noise and stared at her hand.
