Ashlie had deposited the Will-Cube in a normal cell in the detention area of the point.

A short while after she left, Will had reformed, and immediately set about slamming himself into the forcefield. Repeatedly.

This accomplished a great deal, by which I mean he was regularly and rapidly sent back into the wall behind him.

After about an hour of this, he had sat back down on the bed thing, and was playing the harmonica.

He had not been provided with a harmonica, but that doesn't matter much for shifters, apparently.

Sam walks cautiously down the row of cells, finally stopping when she finds Will's.

"Uhm... hey, there."

And yeah, I had to hit her pretty hard. She's not flesh and blood. Whether she's the headmistress or not, whether she owns me or not, I'm not going to let her hurt my friends. Period. End of sentence."

"No, I think you're giving yourself too much credit there. I like to think I would have done this to save you, whether or not you had re-wired my brain."
