[Colette Rosenhof]

"Did you get shot in ze stomach or somezing? You should probably go to ze infirmary."

[Amy Myers]

Amy picks up the phone while Basil is throwing up, partially as an excuse to not have to look at vomit manifesting out of nowhere. It does at least show her that Basil probably isn't bleeding if things leaving his body become visible again. Still, she looks a little queasy herself.

"He's okay, he's just... being sick." she says after a short pause to figure out how Basil would probably put it to be more polite. "We're okay, I don't think anyone's seriously hurt."

[Basil Benson]

"Well..Upside: least I didn't pass out...." He laughs ruefully with his wobbly voice.

[Colette Rosenhof]

"Anyone? Zere are more of you?"

[Amy Myers]

"Vinny. And... Uhm. A giant insect monster thing? I... probably fucked up some of the Mongols, but I guess they had that coming..."

[Colette Rosenhof]

There was a pause.

"... is zat some racist slang or somezing?"

[Basil Benson]

Basil was awkwardly quiet, where ever he was. Not that *that* was anything new though right? It was probably fine.

[Amy Myers]

"What? No, there's an actual giant insect monster. I think it's a student."

[Colette Rosenhof]

"Zat is not... nevermind. I am happy zat you are all safe." There's a little sigh of relief on the other end of the line. "What can I do to help? Do you need me to relay a message?"

[Basil Benson]

Basil finally spoke up.

"I uuuh... We should get going."

[Amy Myers]

"Maybe that there's Mongols riding around outside the school. We'll be there in a bit though." she says, feeling a bit awkward since she shouldn't really hang up on what's technically somebody else's phone call. Instead she just kinda holds out the phone in Basil's general direction.

[Basil Benson]

"Hi." Basil says to the phone as if he's at a lose for words suddenly.

"I think... Maybe Amy should drop me off at the infirm. You... eh.... stay in the safe place."

He almost sounded like he was going to vomit again, but he had yet to.

[Colette Rosenhof]

"I will be waiting at ze infirmary for ze boz of you. Please be cautious."

Colette hung up before either of them would have a chance to protest.

[Basil Benson]

At this point Basil didn't have the strength to get upset over the gelatine woman being shit at listening. He sighed.

"You can just drop me off. It's probably nothing. No sense in two of you needlessly jeopardizing yourselves over nothing."

[Amy Myers]

"Fine. Whatever. I hope you're alright..." she says before heading over to Vinny and the van to check on them.

[Basil Benson]

Basil became visible again as Amy walked away, figuring he wasn't likely to get shot at this point. Leaning all of his weight to his left, he managed to get into an upright position after a bit of stumbling about on his part. He made his way towards the Institute slowly and in a gingerly fashion.

[Vinny Patterson]

"Fine. Whatever. I hope you're alright..." she says before heading over to Vinny and the van to check on them.

Vinny hadn't gotten out of the driver's seat yet. He appeared to be alright, though his knuckles were white from gripping the steering wheel.

[Amy Myers]

"You okay? The van looks pretty roughed up..." she asks carefully.

[Vinny Patterson]

"I spent four weeks on CraigsList looking for that bench," Vinny muttered. "Remember? We had to drive to Walla Walla?"

[Amy Myers]

"Yeah. What happened? Did it get shaken loose?"

[Vinny Patterson]

"Basil dumped it!"

[Amy Myers]

"What? Why!?"

[Vinny Patterson]

"Got me."

[Amy Myers]

"I'm sorry... I bet that was my fault. He's got some kinda problem with me and he took it out on the van."

[Vinny Patterson]

"I dunno what the hell he was thinking."

[Amy Myers]

"We'll find you a new one. Or put in a mini-fridge and a couch. A really small one." she tries to lighten the mood a little.

[Vinny Patterson]

Vinny sighed, and slumped back. "Were those...really Mongols?"

[Amy Myers]

"I don't know... But that was pretty messed up, no matter who those guys were..."

[Vinny Patterson]

"Ugh..." Vinny moaned. "This sucks."

[Amy Myers]

"Hey, the van's only a little bit banged up. And you're okay."

[Vinny Patterson]

"Y...yeah, I guess so."

[Amy Myers]

"And who else can say they rode a van into battle with a Mongolian Horde? It's not even banged up, it's got battle scars."

[Vinny Patterson]

"IT's gonna take me months to buff all this out," he groaned.
