"That 'almost but not quite' thing?"

"Yeah. I mean, I don't think either of them have done anything...too harmful in my head yet. Relatively speaking."

"Sam's too routinely worried about everything to do anything truly harmful."

[Will Stanton]

Will blinked, and then started laughing.

And continued laughing.

And the laughing was ongoing.

Tereza blinked, a little confused at the response. "What did I say?"

[Will Stanton]

"Sorry, it's just...

You're painting Sam as this wallflower or something, and it's hilariously wrong, at least from where I'm used to," he said, wiping a tear from his eye.

"I've also had a weird week, so maybe I just needed to burst there."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Bursting is perfectly okay. Not that she can't mix it up, but man, her worrying is professional grade compared to mine."

[Will Stanton]

"Yeah, she's a bit...repressed, maybe? Unsure of herself? But there's a firehose underneath that."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Yeah. She's one of those people I would want to have beside regardless of the trouble."

[Will Stanton]

"My Sam definitely was one of those types, and I think this Sam is too. I just wish she...

...nah, she's fine the way it is."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza tilted her head, looking at Will curiously. "Wish she what?"

[Will Stanton]

"Not really sure I should go into the specifics. But if she would just get out of her own head a little..."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"An interesting turn of phrase to use when discussing a telepath."

[Will Stanton]

"Heh, I suppose it is, at that. But it's accurate."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"To some extent, she might be afraid of what is in other people's heads and what that means for her. Having telepathy to go with shapeshifting can't be easy."

[Will Stanton]

"No, it very much isn't," Will nodded. "Still."

[Tereza Rozanov]

Tereza nodded, "Yeah, I've been trying to get her to open up when I'm not wrapped up in my own shit."

[Will Stanton]

Will sighed. "Just..something I'll have to get used to. I'll throw it on the pile."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Those piles can get kind of big. If you decide you need help with that pile sometime, just let me know." She picked up another box and moved it out of the room.

[Will Stanton]

"Help in what way?" he asked, interested.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"You know, if you need someone to talk about it or you want to go get a drink or you just need to *do* something."

[Will Stanton]

"Doing something might be good, from time to time."

[Tereza Rozanov]

"You know where to find me when you're ready."

[Will Stanton]

"Yeah. I might have to spend more time in that room of yours," he joked, weakly. "Everything seems to revolve around it."

"Just let us know you're coming and you're welcome as far as I'm concerned."

[Will Stanton]

Will nodded. "Thanks, it means a lot."
