[Haley Crusek]

"If we just spent an extended vacation in another dimension, I don't think lycanthritis...thropy? Is all that hard to imagine."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I can show you the exact physics involved with other dimensions and I am certain there's a vector of infection capable of triggering latent genes. Calling her a werewolf just lends credence to the idea that there are mystical forces at work." she says, looking at Sam, oddly enough. "It does more harm than good. What matters now is how to handle this while Dr. McCoy tries to find a solution. Despite what some people might say I'm not a fan of keeping students locked up down here."

[Samantha McManus]

"So... maybe this was in her all along, you're saying?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"That seems unlikely," Tereza points out. "I imagine the Russians would have fallen all over themselves to use that if they'd found genes like that in a cryokinetic."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"Agreed. But X-Genes are hard to analyze and there are many dormant functions that a genetic infection like a virus could take advantage of, even in non-mutated baseline humans. At the very least it is more likely than 'Lycanthropy'." she says with obvious disdain in her voice.

[Samantha McManus]

"But that'd mean that this... is kind of permanent, right?"

[Haley Crusek]

Haley crossed her arms over her chest, not quite sure what to make of the exchange between Ashlie and Sam.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"I suppose this is the point where I complicate matters by saying I ended up 'somewhere else' when I changed and I saw the woman who bit me. She seemed to be completely aware of what it was she'd done and of what was going on with me in particular." She wracks her brain for a moment, "She referred to me as daughter. I mean, I suppose it could have been a typical mindscape and she could have been a telepath, but it didn't feel quite right."

Haley eyed Sam, "Well...Sam and I have gone into minds together before...so we could take a look if you're comfortable with that."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"I'm going to file that under stress brought on by a traumatic experience, along with the fact that this happened on a full moon. Psychological triggers. And hopefully this won't be any more permanent than catching the flu is. I can't promise anything more until we've had a chance to look at it in the lab." she says, deliberately avoiding adding her two cents to Haley's suggestion.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Well, let's get that started then," Tereza says. "What do you need me to do?"

[Samantha McManus]

"What, her or us?" Sam asks.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Either or. If we can figure out what's wrong, then I'll do whatever has to be done."

[Ashlie Minamida]

"Be careful." she tells Sam and Haley before turning back to Tereza. "I'll convene with Beast and send someone to take a blood sample. I can't run the Danger Room twentyfour-seven, but we can see that you get to stretch your legs some while we try to come up with a more long-term solution."

[Samantha McManus]

"...I need something with caffeine," she mutters.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Go get some breakfast, Sam," Tereza says, "I'm obviously not going anywhere. We can tackle this when you're ready."

[Haley Crusek]

Haley nodded in reply to Ashlie, flashed a tight-lipped smile at her sparring partner, and then moved towards the exit with Sam. "Caffeine is definitely required right now."
