A hot shower and some breakfast later, Sam makes her way back towards Tereza's cell.

"...hey. How are you holding up?"

She nods and sits down, reaching out for Tereza's mind.

The two of them make contact easily, finding themselves in some sort of hallway. It probably looks decently familiar to Sam... except that a large number of the supporting columns have been replaced with tree trunks and in places the roof is made out of branches rather than normal building materials. Ahead, there's a directional sign, but the arrows are all pointing in ways that don't make sense with the geography.

"This looks...unusual," she replied, her avatar stepping over a large root as they walked. "Wolves like the wilderness though. So if she's now part wolf...or has some sort of weird mutant virus or whatever Minamida was on about I guess it makes sense."

It seemed like everywhere there were signs of movement, but it was hard to tell what might be actual movement. Everywhere was rustling branches and rustling pseudo-underbrush.

Sam saw some tracks, going in every which direction. Some were human and some were obviously animal.

Sam goes for a set of tracks that looks the most like wolf or dog paws, not that she really knows the difference. She'll pick a particularly large set if there's any variance, and starts following the trail.

The largest set drags them in the direction of the principal's office. They get to that door and it's obvious the animal has paced around outside it quite a bit. The door has several claw marks in it. There's a lit buzzer button with an intercom speaker. The door itself doesn't seem to want to budge.

The interior of the room might have once been an office, but now it look like there were camera feeds of all sorts with footage of various areas playing. Tereza, with a decidedly 'wild woman' look to her, shut the door behind them, throwing a heavy bar across before going back to the camera feeds. "Thing's been stalking this place for a couple of weeks now. It's a wily bastard."

"I go out hunting for it when I can, but sometimes it's more powerful than others. And I've got to blend in when I'm hunting it. Don't want it to catch me unawares." She religiously watches the camera feeds, "It's been way too terrible recently to bother trying to hunt it, so I've been holed up here trying to make sure it doesn't do anything too awful."

Haley closed her eyes and reached into a pouch on her belt, focusing on what she wanted. She withdrew a handful of silver bullets, and smiled happily as she started emptying her revolvers and loading in the bullets.

"Well, let's hope so..."
