A Certain Level Of Wildness

Tereza sits in one of the conference rooms on the point, munching on some snacks that Sam had left for her and watching the conference room's TV. The third night of the full moon had been somewhat better and last night she hadn't changed at all, so she's hopeful that she'll be able to go back to the dorms soon.

"Any word yet?" Sam's voice comes from the doorway of the conference room as she walks in.

Tereza brightens when Sam walks in. "Not yet. They're probably seeing what sort of industrial grade lock they can install on our dorm room door just in case."

"Knock knock!" Laura's voice comes from the other side of the door along with an actual knock in a surprisingly considerate move. Or maybe she was just worried about what she might barge in on if she just opened the door unannounced.

Tereza is apparently making up for Sam's embarrassment by not giving two fucks. "Well, no change last night. The damned 'hum' is still there, but it's not as loud now. I can't speak for the sanctity of my head, but I couldn't do that before ending up in werewolf-ville, so there's not grand change there."

Laura gives Sam an endlessly amused look that just screams that she's aware the two are roommates.

"I'll check with Minamida. Talk her out of installing some kinda panic room style shutters on the windows and doors. Seems pretty obvious to me what's going on here but she's pretty set on calling it psychosomatic lunar whatever-the-hell syndrome. Make sure you got your phone on hand to let people know if something does go wrong, but I think we're in the clear for now."
