Rage With The Machine

Tereza blocks the robot's fist with ice on her arm, deflecting it into the ground. She cuts back across, knocking it backwards a step before having to raise her forearms to block several more blows. One arm suddenly extends, snaking around her block and catching her in the jaw. She tilts sideways, but then all finesse disappears as she lays into the robot with savage blows as her eyes fight going yellow. Before long, the robot is a crushed mass of parts and Tereza is breathing hard. The room chimes, "Vital signs outside acceptable operating parameters. Lockout enabled. Please relax."

"I guess I should be glad the robot was your parting partner and not me," a voice called out folks the observation deck. "Still damn impressive. how are you feeling hottie?"

"I have had better training sessions," she says, looking up at the observation deck. "Want to see how I react in these situations. So far... not good."

"Yeah," she says, "some things are easy to recognize, like I know Sam regardless. But I have a hard time with impulses when she's stronger."

She sighs as she sits down on the metal floor, the ice on her arms shedding down onto the floor. "Maybe? Maybe it's just me projecting my previous loneliness onto her? I... may have had a lot of time to think."
