Chase entered the X-Men area of the Point, looking for X-23. He hoped he was right and she would be more receptive to spying on the Lotus.

Laura is sitting in one of the chairs in the briefing area. On a monitor in front of her is a feed of Isolde's cell. She's got her feet up on the console and is leaning back in the chair, snoring up a storm.

Chase stepped into the room and rapped loudly on a table. Obviously, he kept his distance.

She snaps to being awake almost instantly, rolling sideways off the chair and landing on her feet next to it, one hand on the backrest of the chair as if she's about to hurl it at somebody. After a second she visibly relaxes, at least as far as she ever does.

"Chase! What's up?" If she's embarrassed about being caught off-guard (kind of) she's doing a good job of hiding it.

He smiled on the inside at getting any sort of drop on X-23. "I've got the time and location for a meet between our assassin at large and someone giving her her next job. Problem is, it's in Crimea."
