"I'm not the only one who makes assumptions," she says quietly.

"You're not the only one to try to escape what they are."

"So many assumptions, 'mother'," she says quietly, something different about her voice.

"Then disabuse me, 'daughter.'" She replies pointedly.

"No," Tereza says just as pointedly, setting the pillow aside and sitting up, still not facing Isolde.

[Isolde Schwarz]

"Suit yourself. No more of our little talks, then?"

[Tereza Rozanov]

"Oh we'll talk again, 'mother', but I'm positive you won't like the subject," she says, standing and turning to face Isolde, the glints of gold unmistakable in her eyes.

[Isolde Schwarz]

"What I like may surprise you," she grins toothily.

[Tereza Rozanov]

"We'll see. You know what happens to old, frail wolves."

[Isolde Schwarz]

"If it ever comes to that, I would be nothing but proud of you."
