Ashlie is in the workshop, looking over the schematic Rob designed with an unreadable expression on her face. She has some tools and components out on the workbench and it almost looks like she's having a staring contest with them.

Tosh approached, gazing curiously at the schematic.

"Are those nanofiber heat sinks? Nice," he whistled.

"Oh. Good afternoon, Mister Narumi." she says, tearing her eyes away form the workbench, almost looking thankful for the distraction. "They are indeed. Very well spotted."

"There are some roadbloacks that I am struggling with." she says, which is a little bit strange because it looks like she hasn't even started actually assembling anything.

"Great. There are some specs in the workbench files regarding the console it will have to interface with. I had to make some educated guesses so it'll probably be good to have some flexibility and remote access features."

"Okay," he said as he looked over the schematic more closely, "How much of a data transfer load are we talking about?"

"I don't have a precise estimate, but it will have to be able to sustain a rate of upwards of one gigabyte per second for at least several minutes. It will be linked to a terminal here, receiving the data-stream but all the interface protocols will have to be handled by this little guy. It also needs to be able to inject command-prompts but that should not impact the bandwidth too much."

"How quickly do you need it done?"

"Whenever you can get it done. There is no need to hurry."

The specifications for the terminal the spider-bot is supposed to connect to looks like nothing Tosh has ever seen. It's some kind of custom interface and appears to be hardwired to grant admin-access to whatever system it is part of. Some kind of developer console, probably.
