"It's easier to be normal, isn't it? To effortlessly fit in with the crowd and not have to worry about people looking at you strangely.

But it's harmful to pretend to be normal when you're not. Now, I'm not a Magneto guy or anything like that, but I've come to understand that "normal" is often a synonym for "boring"."

Will gave a thin-lipped smile. "When the one you care about most is there for you, anything's possible, aye?"

"I mean I'm not... trying to say you're not helping, too. You help a lot, Will."

"No, no, it's...it's alright. It's...it's fine. My own thing, right? I'm glad she's there for you."

[Samantha McManus]

"I need both of you for different reasons, aye?"

[Will Stanton]

"Of course, of course," he said, with the same unreadable thin-lipped smile.

"Thanks for talking this out with me, it helped quite a bit, I'm going to go now, maybe talk to the military some, see what's up."

"...alright, then. Let me know if you want... some backup, aye?"

[Will Stanton]

"Of course, Sam. And if you ever want me to get in touch with your wild side, let me know -- I can whip something up on relatively short notice," he said, forcing a smile.
