Sam barely spoke on the way into the room. She hesitates a bit as she approaches the tank.

"...I really wanted to believe she made it back," she sighs.

Bear had absently been following Sam and Will, and now was looking into the Cerebra Womb.

"Huh.. I always figured it would be bigger."

Will started to say something, then apparently thought better of it. "We're here when you get out," he said, retreating to the safety of the observation deck.

After the tank fills, Bear might get the sudden impression of a flock of birds taking flight.

Will of course, doesn't get the pleasure.

It's well after dark when the console beeps, and the machine starts draining.

"Nnng," Will said, swatting at the console for a second, before waking up and remembering the situation.

He stood up and shook the sleep out of his eyes, headed back down into the chamber.

Sam leans forward as the tank hisses open, coughing as she expels the last of the oxygenated fluid from her lungs.
