"That makes sense," she nodded. "I doubt I'm as durable as either of you two...though it's amazing how much and how fast I can heal now."

"I thought sharks were supposed to be really good at regenerating. And that most shifters got enhanced healing as part of their powers just to...well. You know, help with everything rearranging itself inside you when you shift."

"Oh, I'll heal. I just don't do it, like, accelerated. I got electricity instead."

"But my super-chompers? They always come back," he added with a clack of his teeth.

"And you can actually choose when you want to shift, which would be amazing."

"Don't worry so much. You'll get there! I know it!" he proclaimed, clapping her once on the back with enough force to send a non-werewolf sprawling.

"What Bruce said and hey at least you don't turn into some kind of horror story nightmare...thing,eh?" Charles said with a toothy smile-like expression.

The slap still caused her to stumble a bit, and she let out a surprised growl before flashing an embarrassed smile.

"Thanks...though I'm pretty sure I've seen several movies where the villain looks a lot like me too."

"I guess I'm lucky sharks are never the villain... oh wait," he teased.

Steph chuckled, "Guess Monster Squad will work well for us then. We really must do this again."

"Sounds like fun," Charles said, "Now we just need matching shifting ourfits and a catch phrase."

"It's monster time?" he suggested uncertainly, "Bah. That one sucked. Smart me can probably do better."

Stephanie grinned, "We'll workshop it a bit. Maybe over dinner?"

She paused for a moment, realizing she more or less asked Tosh out for a date in front of another guy. "Like...all of us," she added.

"Only if it's all an you can eat buffet," Charles said shifting back to his human self. "Though three shifters eating dinner at the same time might force a place to close for the night."

"Cafeteria meal plan is about all I can afford so hopefully they can keep up."

"Might force a place to close forever," Bruce laughed before shifting back into Tosh.

"Sounds like a date," he smiled, oblivious to her aborted overture.

That tail had a mind of its own and it had no intention of helping Steph play it cool--it wagged excitedly at the prospect. "Sounds great...now I should probably shower since it'll take me an hour to dry off." she chuckled.

"Or make friends with somebody who can manipulate water," Charles smiled. "Cafeteria it is then. They are always prepared for shifters and their appetites."

"Agreed. Because you're not the only one who can't afford much else," he chuckled.
