[X-Imports] Idea Overview

This is basically a standard Star Wars thing. Not sure how better to explain it than that. :) I've got Star Wars on the brain lately, so blame that.
With the spectacular death of Jabba the Hutt, the Hutt Cartel is thrown into complete disarray. The big guy didn’t rule the largest of the Cartel segments by committee and with the territorial jockeying, Nar Shaddaa, the Smuggler’s Moon, is in equal disarray. On the surface, everything looks business as usual. Under the hood though, private wars erupt and new syndicates move in on the moon, looking to stake a claim and dig in deep enough that they’ll still be standing when the dust settles. One such syndicate, X-Imports, has secured a series of contracts on various starship hangars, warehouses, and even a cantina or two.

The hub of activity for X-Imports, the Sleeping Krayt Cantina, is where most of the business is conducted. Fairly traditional as far as cantinas go, it has the traditional band and the requisite dark corners as well as the bartender who knows to mind his own business unless asked. Grannick, the Ithorian bartender, has run the Sleeping Krayt for years and has seen several syndicates come and go, but he can usually be counted on to stick up for whichever one is currently signing the checks paying for his establishment.

X-Imports has a small fleet of ships, mostly light freighters, though their flagship, the Starline Curve, is a large capital ship class freighter that serves as more bazaar than command ship. Still, like any good smuggler’s ship, it’s far more heavily armed than its appearance indicates. It currently stays in station near Nar Shaddaa to support X-Imports’ push onto the moon, mostly used at present for transactions that absolutely have to take place outside of the Hutts’ sight.

Character concepts are anything that you think would be of use to a syndicate. Enforcers, smugglers, mechanics, pilots, what-have-you. Not opposed to the occasional Force Sensitive individual either, so long as things aren't overrun with them.
