The teacher/staff quarters were built around a concept that the designer liked to call "Permanent Modularity." The small complex had floors designed to be sectioned up into apartments as space and needs dictated, though the modular pieces did their best to look like permanent walls and were fairly decent at absorbing sound. The Rozanov-McManus apartment was one of the larger sections, partially due to housing occasional visitors and partially due to no one wanting to argue with the werewolf when she described the first layout as 'claustrophobic'. Here and there were touches of Tereza's design choices mostly in the form of music paraphernalia and the occasional pictures of her weird 'family'.

Tereza had taken the time after the party to make sure that Maya was all settled in the dorms before she retreated to her apartment. She dropped heavily onto the couch with a groan, turning the TV on and just staring at whatever the last channel happened to be. It crossed her mind that she should get up and eat, but all she wanted at the moment was to decompress.

Conveniently at a commercial break there was a knock a the front door.

"S'open," Tereza calls, looking towards the door before deciding she should at least get off the couch to meet the person.

Viv opened the door but backed in pulling a very large wooden chest in with her.

"Tereza, dear..a hand."

That killed the lethargy. "Viv!" She bounded to the door, reaching down to lend a hand with the chest. "I didn't know you were coming back."

"Would not miss the first day." They moved the chest to the livingroom and Vivienne knelt to unlock it right away.

"Gifts, bribes and tribute for the Morrigan and her Wolf, from the High Lords and Ladies of the Four Seasons." She said as she stood up and embraced Teresa. "Mother sends her regards as well."

The chest held an array of goods, obviously not of human make.

Tereza hugged her back before giving her a kiss, "We've missed you."

"I would have made this my first stop but I had new students to settle. Who knew accepting the title of Emissary meant babysitter, chauffeur and luggage handler. How is our Flame-haired Lady?"

"She's doing good, she should be along shortly. I think she's saying hello to some old friends. Hopefully she's not putting the fear of the goddess into the new students."

"They were warned and told to respect her in accordance to all her titles." Vivienne began to unpack the chest, her eyes becoming dark as she gently picked up the first item.

"Problem?" Tereza asks, resting a hand on Vivienne's back.

"Yes and no. This one is a bribe, charmed to bind into agreement the one who pick it up." She smiled.

"It was to be expected. They are testing the boundaries of the treaty. They assumed I would not unpack for myself."

"Sounds like something for the Morrigan's enforcer to deal with," she says with a soft growl.

Vivienne turned the object in her hands looking it over. It was an exotic wood carving of a raven and a wolf in a sort of dancing pose.

"It is disenchanted now and the caster knows it failed. Some time with it later and I can find out more." She set the wooden item down.

"It's a pretty piece at least," she says, examining it.

"It is." She pulled a bolt of black fabric that had a sort of silver something woven into it that caught the light. As she did a folded paper fluttered loose.

Tereza glanced at the paper and moved to grab it but stopped short, "Safe to touch?"

Vivienne's eye were unchanged. "Yes, safe." She smiled and set the fabric aside.

The paper was an inventory list in Nimue's hand and another note in another hand and another language.

Vivienne leaned over to read the fey runes.

"Ah, an apology. The items must have shifted in transport. The carving and the fabric are from the Erlkonig. The carving was found in his vaults. He warns of the charm, it is old and he has none in his court to remove it. The holder of the bargain is no longer living, but he requests that the Unbindable One handles it first."

"Ah, so I don't get to beat anyone up," she says, sounding mildly disappointed about that. "We can still tell him they're beautiful pieces."

“I am sure you will have your chance. We may have equilibrium in the realms again, but there are still those who are less then happy about it.”

“Officially, I’m security staff here, so I’m sure there’ll be no shortage of villains to tackle as well. If it’s anything like the university.” She decides to change the subject, “So what would you like for a welcome back dinner?”

“Power attracts power, both good and bad.” She let Tereza change the subject. “Something light, cheese and cracker plates. Fruit, meats, cheese.”

Tereza pulls out her phone and begins putting together a list. "I think we can handle that. We also have some wine we've been saving. Seems like a good opportunity to break it out."

“I also have good news. With the return of the Season Courts you are invited to the Spring Equinox fetes.”

"You know me. I can almost always party. Hopefully Sam's appearance won't scare the living daylights out of all of the other attendees."

“She will cause a stir, but there should be little actual fear. There was talk of an invitation to the Winter fete, but the rules and fine turning for human attendees has not been settled yet.” She pulled an envelope from her pocket, their names along with their fey given titles written in delicate calligraphy. In fact three names were on the invitation.

"I imagine the Spring party is more interesting anyway," she says, glancing at the envelope before going back to finishing something on her phone. "There. Groceries are on the way."

"Depends on what one enjoys, it is advised the young one return home just after sunset, an amendment has been accepted but the organizers that the fertility rites and observances are to be held after sundown."

Tereza snorts, "Noted." Then she sobers, "We'll have to see how Maya's doing then. This school is her first large group, no-hovering-Mom experience."

"By that time she will have had several months to adjust and three 'mothers' to claim and can call whatever she sees fit."

"Did I ever mention how much I appreciate you being willing to help with that role?"

"You know I would move the stars for you and Samantha if it were in my power. I am sorry I was unable to meet her when she first arrived. Will she return for evening meals or is she determined to make a full break for dorm life?"

"We're letting her do what she wants. I think she'll make a break for at least a bit just because she can, but she'll probably circle back eventually. I'm doing my best not to worry."

"Say the words and I can have her room warded."

"You can't have her room warded forever, Sweetie. And she's quick, she'd probably figure it out. I'm not worried about fey interference with her at any rate."

"I know, but she is very precious and change comes slowly to fey." She said as she twisted the tri-metal braided band around her finger.

"We'll get through it," Tereza says, taking Vivienne's restless hand. "Tonight is about us though. We even have a couple of movies that we've been saving for when you returned."

"And popped corn?" She asked with a smile as she paused in her unpacking.

"Of course," Tereza says with a grin.
