[Avalon] A View From The Wall

The walls of Big Ben castle had a pretty spectacular view. There was a small crowd watching the gates after the strange events of last night and Tereza was watching them in turn. Even though she should be easily visible, the people seemed not to notice her. Even more oddly for Tereza, she was dressed in an ice-blue dress. She was still wearing her sword though and one hand rested idly on the pommel.

Vivienne joined Tereza, who was not dressed formally. Tereza would recognize the leather for their time at school when Vivienne was in training sessions.

"May I join you?"

"Of course," Tereza said, glancing over her shoulder. "I don't think they can see us," she said, gesturing to the people down below. "And I'm not entirely sure what they're expecting to happen."

"They can not and I know the feeling all too well." She moved to stand beside Tereza.

"How are you settling in? Are your chambers to your liking?"

"They are nice. Almost too nice for me, but you know how hard I have it accepting my place in anything."

"I have been thinking about that as well. Samantha was correct, I can not allow myself to rely completely on what my mother set in place and it is not fair to place so much on the shoulders of the blade holders. This world is so much larger then just Britannia. We need more allies."

"We've never been one for playing by the rules, so it makes sense. We can't be everywhere at once."

"I have begun preparations to open communications with the makers of the blades. They are scattered throughout the world and coordinating with them will be relatively simple for me. They will act as I do, create strongholds in their countries and call those chosen with in their borders to them, instead of them being called to me. I am also going to investigate some local rumors of a coven and a pack of weres. I would like for you and Shane to remain here until I return. You both are free to come and go as you please of course, but I would very much like it if you were here when I returned."

"I was planning to lay low for a few days to avoid Le Fay's hunters, so I have no problems sticking around."

"A very heavy title, 'Le Fay '. You are no longer alone and I am sorry you ever were in the first place." She lightly places her hand on one of Tereza's.

"A lot of stuff happened in a very short amount of time. I don't think anyone could have really foreseen what all this would mean. And I'm good at hiding on my own." She took Vivienne's hand in hers and squeezed it.
