She sighs.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Okay." They wound their way through the city before pulling into a small wooded area on the city's outskirts. "You should be able to safely hide here til nightfall," Tereza said to Vivienne.

As they traveled the pup woke, she silently watched Sam and Tereza with large green eyes.

"They are allies. They helped me find you."

The pup's ears lift a moment then dropped back.

"Yes, they know."

Green eyes widen and the pup whimpers.

"I will gladly pay the price for that and for loosing you."

Viv turned her attention to Sam and Tereza.

"Thank you for your help. I would not have been able to find her without it."

"I just helped with the tracking. Sam's the one who went in with you. If you ever need something, track us down again. The pack would be happy to help."

"Or... just if you want to keep in touch," Sam shrugs, then winces.
