Xaviers!

Tereza sits on the roof outside, staring up at the sky and hugging her knees to her chest. She's wearing just a tank-top and shorts without a care for the chill in the air as normal.

"Sam mentioned tattoos. So when do I start getting ink done? I was thinking of maybe a few My Little Ponies prancing." Haley joked.

"Little more complicated than that. I'm going to have to get in touch with my friend Brand." She reaches back and pulls down the back of her tank top, revealing the raven and the knot work. "Yours may not look precisely like this. We'll have to see what Sam thinks. I had this one done without her around."

"It's beautiful...always wanted a tattoo, but thought it would be under different circumstances."

Haley wrapped her arms around herself and shivered a bit, her now-too-small leather jacket not working nearly as well as it used to.

"For what it's worth, I'm sorry that hurt so much," she says, gesturing towards Haley's shoulder.

Haley shrugged, a bit of a rueful smirk on her face, "'Reza, little in this world nowadays doesn't hurt."

"I know," she says, flexing one of her hands, "but don't underestimate how good fighting will feel now. Because it does feel good."

"And now you will be able to shake off the physical pains with ease." Vivienne added as she stepped onto the roof, in her arms a bundle of fabrics.

"And here I thought I had anger issues before," she snorted. "My temper has been out of control since I got infected. It was how I was almost certain there wasn't going to be any escaping it. The past few nights had all but confirmed it."

She sighed, "I'm just glad I found someone I care about to learn from."

"We'll get you through it," Tereza says with some confidence. She turns to look at Vivienne. "And just where have you been?"

"Shopping or hunting. The end result is the same." She set the bundle beside Tereza, now that is was close there as a stronger scent of "wolf" on it.

"Haley expressed comcern for her wardrobe. I took it upon myself to liberate a few of the Authority's wolves of their belongings. I am unsure if the Authority has the same resources the school had, I would think they would have changeable fabrics since they are rely heavily on the wolves. The two I encountered seemed to be yours and Haley's new size."

Tereza's nose wrinkled at the smell and she stared at Vivienne, "What did you do?"

"Adhered to the rules of being a vampire, I need to eat. They may or may not need extra laundering. I did what I could when I had the nose for it, but the 'sun' rose and the day version of my vampire self is not nearly as capable as my night version." While the items still had 'hint o' wolf', there was no scent of blood.

Haley wrinkled her own nose as she looked over the garments, "Yeah...extra laundering is gonna need to happen. But these look to actually fit, so that's a huge plus. Thank you."

She looked back over to Tereza, "How much bigger do you think I'm going to get once the moon has its way with me?"

"Significantly maybe, but this may be it for human you's size. It's always hard to tell how big someone's wolf will be."

"Eight feet tall," Haley smirked. "Finally my height in the real world will match how big I should be in my head."

Tereza snorts. "Regardless, you're marked now. Unless you want a fight, you'll steer clear of the packs. They'll recognize you, even with what I did."

"Have to fight them eventually...need to see if they have Trev. I can still feel him...faintly. Never been strong enough to communicate far away but I still have a bit of a connection to him."

"We'll get that figured out, but I have to make sure you've got your head on straight first. Because you can heal a lot, but there are limits."

Haley looked like she was about to argue, but stopped, just sighing and gazing up at the nearly full moon. "...yeah."

"That's a good first step," Tereza says after she agrees. "It is a curse, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy some of its blessings."

"I feel like I could eat an entire cow. If we were back at school that wouldn't be a bad thing. Been hard to scrounge up enough food while I've been on the run."

"That's the regeneration. It burns up energy and you need to replenish it or it will eventually burn you out."

"I'm sort of assuming that Sam has a bit more access to food than I have had over the past few weeks."

"She has some resources. She's put down some roots."

"Good...I could use all the help I can get if I ever want to get him back."

Tereza glances back at Vivienne, "If two mutant werewolves, a fey vampire, the invisible man, and the bloody Morrigan can't get him back, then I don't think it can be done."

"...I'm still not convinced that this isn't all some damn weird dream," she chuckled.

"Shall I pinch you?" She asked as she shook out the items she'd brought, giving then a closer inspection for polymorphic capabilities.

There didn't seem to be any magic inherent in the clothing. Apparently the Authority didn't care if their werewolves had to run naked through the streets.

"No thanks," she smirked, "the bite and aftereffects were painful enough to have woken me up."

"Yeah, sometimes you just have to live with the nightmare. And I'm dead set on being a nightmare to some other people."

Haley pulled out a flask from the remains of her leather jacket and took a swig, offering it to Tereza and Vivienne, "I'll drink to that."
