Word slowly filters around the seedier circles of London that one of the gangs just got a new leader. If rumors are to be believed, this leader is invincible or at the very least unbreakable. The stories are as wild and varied as they come and the Authority seems rather dismissive of them. Still, they've quietly stepped up werewolf patrols in the East End where the gang is known to operate.

Down in the street, one of the werewolf packs was jostling each other on their way down the street.Most people were giving them a wide berth, but there were a couple of men watching them in a very casual "not watching them" sort of way.

"I suppose we watch and see. If this gang is ever aggressive towards innocents then I will be compelled to intervene." She watched over the edge with a fangy smile.

The men seem to follow the werewolves for a short distance before another pair picks up the tail for them and the first two filter away into the crowd.

About that point, the werewolves start hassling a random passerby about some perceived slight. The two followers stop, looking at each other. One of them taps his forearm and the other one shakes his head. They have a silent staring argument before melting back into the crowd, but not out of sight of Sam and Vivienne.

After casting a look of frustration in the direction of the werewolf pack, the two gang members slip off down a side street, heading in the general direction of Canary Wharf.

"There's no lack of wolves of late," she mutters before springing across the rooftops, aiming to follow the gang members.

"Pity." She licks her lips and follows, stepping back into the shadow and stepping out of another in the alley below to follow on foot.

The two gang members are very wary and Sam and Viv have to avoid being spotted several times. Eventually, the slip into an alley and move to head down a manhole.

She wrinkled her nose but knelt and placed her hand on the pavement. There was an odd look of hard concentration on her face as she focused.

She catches sight of them for a bit before they break off into one of the maintenance tunnels that doesn't have any water in it.

Getting in isn't terribly difficult, nor is finding the maintenance exit the gang members took. Sam can sense several minds a short distance into the tunnel and then a large collection of minds, some sleeping, some not even deeper into whatever maintenance section this used to be.

"Always." her body shimmered and her clothing was replaced with a black leather body suit, Caledfwlch strapped to her back, she looked like a certain movie vampiress.

There is some feeble light in the sewer from old lights along the wall. No one is immediately visible, but that squares with what Vivienne had seen when she looked through the water.

"I suppose we're all predators on some level, these days." Sam says just before she drops down into the tunnel. She starts following along the wall as she looks for the maintenance tunnel.

The maintenance tunnel wasn't hard to find. The gang seemed to be relying on not being followed.

Up ahead, Sam could sense the larger gathering of minds, some of which were engaged in some sort of sparring training. Ahead of them, a passageway ran away and Sam could sense a pair of minds hiding in alcoves off the tunnel.

The Morrigan looks to Viv, then cants her head towards each of the alcoves, approaching slowly.

With a nod Vivienne backs into a deep shadow, following but remaining behind Sam by two steps.

"Oy, love, no need to go any further," a male voice says as Sam draws closer. "If you're one of the Authority's rats, you'd best find somewhere else to go before this here silver finds your heart." The speaker seems to have a large-ish body shape, though it's hard to tell with the shadows of the alcove. The glint of a silver blade is a bit unmistakable though.

"It is a bit dark down here, perhaps their eyes are ill suited." Viv spoke from behind Sam's right shoulder.
