"Not until I get her on open ground," Isolde says, carrying Wanda towards the lawn and laying her down.

That seemed to help some, calming the shivers a decent bit though her color was still off. She opens her eyes, looking up at Isolde and Vivienne, "Isolde?"

Will pulled, and YANKED, and cleared his nasal passages.

"Mmm. Practice makes perfect, but it's a...niche skill, to say the least," he groaned, sitting back down. "I'll keep."

Bear runs up, having taken a detour to scavenge a bag, filled with various ball-sized objects.

“I didn’t think I was gone for that long...” she said, looking up at the girl at the the center of the simulation.

"Yo! Basil!" Diego shouted, sounding calm but looking around in an increasing panic. "Say something already!!"

"OY!" Basil replied, mimicking back the English version of the sound Diego made to call him out. What could best be described as floating stigmata made their way closer to his group.

"Sorry. I was just having a look about and making sure everyone else was okay." He replied, finally in the proper accent.

"kori-gori-da......" She mumbled under her breath.

"Do not run off like that in an emergency situation Benson-Senpai! You could have gotten yourself killed! Let the healers look for the wounded!"

"Yeah, you will," she says with a softer smile, kneeling down next to him. "I'll be sure to tell Sam that you seem like a keeper," she whispers to him before getting up and going to help get Thresher and Conduit locked up.

If there was an Academy Award for "Best Portrayal of 'We'll Talk Later' by a Set of Pursed Lips", then Will Stanton would be busy thanking his agent and all the wonderful crew he worked with right about now.

"Mon dieu, Baseel, you are bleeding!" Colette approached Basil, already trying to get some article of clothing off of herself so that she could make some makeshift bandages.

Being Colette's room-mate was the only thing that caused Basil to bite his tongue on Chisaki's chiding. Had she not been, or even if they'd been alone, Basil would have probably snapped off something like 'Why do you care?'

At Colette's show of worry, Basil attempted to play it off.

"Yes well, that's what happens I suppose when you stupidly think your soft fleshy hands can bear the weight of a several ton robot." There was a lot of blood, but with him being invisible there wasn't really a way to tell if it was bad. If it was, Basil was incredibly good at handling pain inflicted upon him. He didn't even seem to be crying.... anymore. He was actually pretty calm now that the immediate danger seemed quelled, though Colette would also know without a face he was very good at hiding his emotions.

Bottle bottle bottle.

"I don't think the fae is out to poison you, either."

She gestures to the water Viv is levitating.

Wanda gestures for the water, taking a sip before saying, “I...” She coughs and takes some more water. “I felt so sick.”

"Hey," Sam says as she makes her way over to Will. "That looked like it hurt."

"Yeah, I've had better days. I, uh...

I should probably head to the med bay to get checked out. You know, just to be sure."

"Well my girlfriend is apparently okay and in need of trousers that aren't made of ice, so in the meantime you want me to walk you over?"

"Are you sure you're alright? You strained yourself quite a bit, in there. Maybe you should go lie down," he evaded.

"...in that case I'd be headed the same way, wouldn't I?"

"I...

...Yeah, I suppose that's a good idea. I'll walk you to the med center," he said, quietly, as he unsteadily stood up and started to brush himself off.

"I'm not even sure of half the shite I did. Things got... a bit crazy there for awhile."

"Probably just a third of the shite, right?" Will said, a smile breaking through despite himself. "Give or take. They'll run the Madrox tests on you, make sure all your brains are all in one piece and all that. You'll be fine."

"Still, we're getting to you to the infirmary," Diego said with an expression that promised he would drag Basil there kicking and screaming if he had to. "Get to steppin'."

Sean sat down as things wound down and watched the others go about seemingly assigned tasks.

"Going to need a pint or three," Sean said as he pulled a handkerchief from a pocket and wrapped his cut hand with it.

Gemma drops onto the ground next to him, rubbing her head. "We could break into the campus pub," she comments with a certain level of grouchiness.

"Tempting," Sean said, "With a little magic we could fry the security system and who'd notice some missing bottles after... whatever this was."

"I sort of doubt there's anyone in there now or that anyone's going to care if we go deep in our cups for a bit. Besides, it's cold out here." She frowns at the snow.

Sean stood up off the ground the thought of a drink making his limbs feel just bit less leaden.

"Yeah, I imagine there's a certain allowance for going out on the lash post-super villain fight," Sean said with a tired smile. "Not used to the snow then?"

"Summer fey is, I believe, the term you'd use. Snow is vile, evil stuff," she says, standing as well as they head in the direction of the XUB.

Sean extends the working he's using to keep warm into a wider circle as he walks alongside Gemmalara.

"Ah, that explains it," Sean said, "And supports what I read in Crowsley's Grimoire about the Fey courts."

"I can assure you that it's probably more nuanced, but more than that I'm forbidden to say." She relaxes a bit as the warmth encompasses her.

"The way of all things magical," Sean said, "How do you find our world?"

Gemma opens her mouth to respond just as they go to enter the XUB.

"You were cut off from the earth. That's not good for you," she says as Wanda drinks.

"Then I'm lucky my guardian was here to pick me up," she says, patting Isolde's cheek.

Sam blinks in confusion.

"You mean... that was real?"

"...I couldn't find you," she slumps.

"Not until the fae broke the illusions."
