Power: Sophie can create and control fire. She has a fairly solid grasp on the creating part of her power but struggles more with controlling it. Currently, controlling her powers requires her to concentrate - the larger the flames, the more focus she needs to have and the more dangerous losing concentration becomes. Her fear of losing control has kept her from really learning to manipute flames after they have already been created.

Personality: Sophie is fairly reserved at first but warms up quickly once she feels like its safe to do so. She has a dark sense of humor which, despite her efforts to read the room, can get her in trouble.

Description: Sophie is about 5' 2" with fiery auburn hair and blue eyes. She prefers wearing solid colors because she feels patterns clash with her hair.

Background: Sophie grew up as the only child of an upper-middle class couple in Quebec. Her early years were uneventful and normal until her mutant abilities manifested, Her parents were both afraid of and for her. They became a little more distant and a little over-protective at the same time, which just confused Sophie. As soon as she was old enough, Sophie decided to leave her home to attend XU - with or without her parents' blessing.
