Physical Description: Tommy is a lean young man with short, wild black hair, freckles under his dark blue eyes, and lightly tanned complexion.

Personality: Loud, brash, uncouth, and excitable, Tommy is a born performer always vying to be the center of attention. He loves rock music with a fiery passion and wears it proudly.

Power Explanation: Tommy can manipulate sound waves; pitch, intensity, frequency, etc. Most frequently he simply makes one thing sound like another, such as voice alteration or turning background noise into whatever song is in his head. He is also capable of causing damage with high intensity sonic blasts that draw from local sounds (louder sounds, bigger effect). Oddly enough, sounds he produces with his own body cannot be weaponized.

Tommy was born and raised in Storm Lake, Kansas, a small, middle of nowhere coal town in decline. The only thing he ever wanted was to get out of his dead-end hometown and make a name for himself. As soon as he picked up his first guitar, he knew in his bones that music was his ticket to fame. But life had one more kick in the teeth to get in before he could ever leave.

He had gotten in a fight with someone bullying a friend. The jock was bigger and stronger and Tommy didn't stand a chance of winning, but that didn't stop him from trying. Suddenly, as he was getting his face pummeled, a passing train grew eerily silent. A second later, the sound returned, but he had somehow sent the jock flying.

His parents gave him a bus ticket to New York before kicking him out. He found his way to Xavier's Institute and, from there, to XU in jolly ol' London.
