Power: Rob is able to repair or rebuild any kind of technology, tool, or non-organic technical device simply by focusing on it. His power requires him to be very close to the object in need of repair. At any distance more than five yards, he is unable to repair an object and being close enough to touch it is honestly the best.
Rob can not currently make any alterations to the function of an object and can not make anything from scratch using his abilities. Repairing an object also takes a certain amount of time and concentration depending on how complex or large it is.
As a side-effect of his abilities, he is able to intuit the function and structure of any type of technology he is close enough to effect. This knowledge is not permanent and lasts only so long as the object is within his area of effect.
Description: Rob is shorter than average with a scrawny build. He has wild dark hair, dark eyes, and a pale complexion. He rarely looks like he has gotten more than an hour of sleep a week.
Background: Rob was born the youngest child of a wealthy and influential family. He is extremely sheltered and has rarely been allowed to leave the grounds of his family estate. His mother was a talented telepath that used her gifts to make a fortune in various business ventures and she often claimed that she homeschooled Rob and his older sisters to prevent them from experiencing the dangerous world that hates and fears their kind.
Fortunately, Mrs. West isn't the sort of crazy-creepy to think she can lock up her children forever and she made arrangements for Rob to attend Xavier University as soon as he graduated.
