Personality: Aphrodite is a bit of a smartass , if you don't mind a little sarcasm with that chirp of her wings then she is delightful. Aphrodite is a humorous, energetic, and talkative girl with the occasional moment of conversation hog. Curious toward new things that she hasn't tried rather then stick to the same old routine.
Description: Aphrodite likes to think her name is ironic concidering the appearance her mutation. Her appearance changes with whatever insect that she has shifted to but a few things remain the same most of the time. Humanoid mostly in shape, height rarely exceeds 5'8",Despite her ability to shift from one humanoid insect to another her preferred form is that of a cricket or grasshopper.
Background: Aphrodite was born and raised in a town called Lima in Ohio. Her father was a immigrant from the Bahamas and worked for the refinery while her mom was local and had job as a teacher. Growing up Aphrodite has a rather rough start. They lived on the poor side of town with a tight budget most days. It got even tighter when her mother left them one day without a word at all. Her father had to work more but he tried to be their for her when he could.
At the age of fifteen her mutation manifested itself during the night. In the morning her father came rushing into her room after hearing Aphrodite scream in terror at the sight of herself in the mirror. Thankfully her father managed to control the situation by comforting her at first before explaining himself as mutant as well. Aphrodites father let her go to school for two weeks before the bullying was too much for the teen. It was then that Aphrodite had found out about the Institute. After a long chat with her father he finally agree'd to let her attend. After her time in the institute where she had learned to understand the primary mutation, Aphrodite came to the school in Europe after much begging to her father.
