I have learned that there's an Ultimate Spiderman cartoon and that Aunt May in it looks a lot like Ashlie.




So now I'm picturing a sitcom universe in which Ashlie and Rob have whacky adventures and a laugh-track.

I was thinking the same thing. Specifically I was wondering if Ultimate Spiderman was a twelve year old or something.

Peter is still in high school in Ultimate Spider-Man (I don't remember how old he's supposed to be, let's say 16) and Aunt May is...well...his aunt. I mean, I get that historically Aunt May is an elderly woman, but there's no real reason for her to be one step away from the nursing home in every iteration of the character. She could easily be around the age of Peter's parents, which would reasonably put her in her mid-to-late forties without much problems.

I guess what I'm saying is that I totally support the casting of Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. Suck it, haters.
