Unlike in our own world, In the XU Universe two branches of the Spencer family of the original three remain. The Spencer-Churchill family that we know from our world, and the Spencers of Great Offley.

Housed at the expansive grounds of Offley Place, the Spencers of Great Offley are bona fide arisocrats. The current head of household is one Sir Dinis Spencer, eldest son of Sir Caldwell Spencer, and only known living Spencer of his generation.

Sir Dinis has had five children of his own. Augusta (Gus), Beatriz (Birdy), Catia (Kitty), Dafne (Daf), and Emil (Millie, though he hates his nickname these days). He also takes care of his niece, Zoe Spencer, who moved in after her mother died of cancer.

Like Basil, each Spencer has a secret, some juicer than others. But do they all have reasons to help keep Basil's under the rug?

Now accepting interested applicants to play any of the following NPCs:

Lady Beatriz "Birdy" Spencer: Second eldest child of Sir Dinis Spencer, and the first of his twin girls. Twenty years old. A bit of a bully to all of her younger siblings and especially to Zoe, Birdy often reminds her sister Kitty that she is technically second oldest Offley Spencer, and therefore higher in ranking than her even though that's not how it works.

Kitty and Birdy are in a constant competition with each other over everything, though Birdy is convinced she is winning. The pair are still frequently seen together, though everything they do seems like a constant competition.

Lately though, it feels like Kitty is pulling away from her more and more, and the lack of control scares Birdy a bit, though she'd never admit it.

Likes: Shiny things, fancy make ups and perfumes
Dislikes: Clingy boys and their cheap gifts
Benefit of playing birdy: You get to be catty to other players

Lady Catia "Kitty" Spencer: Third eldest child (though only by minutes) of Sir Dinis Spencer, and the second of his twin children, a fact which Birdy never allows her to forget. Kitty and Birdy are in a constant competition with each other over everything, though Birdy is convinced she is winning. The pair have been spending less time together recently, though they're still always competitive when they are.

Likes: fancy clothes and shoes, cute boys, photography
Dislikes: Anything off the rack, Her sister Birdy
Benefit of playing Kitty: She's slightly less hostile than her twin sister, and a huge flirt

Lady Dafne "Daf" Spencer: Fourth Eldest, nineteen years old

Lady Dafne is a tech-nut, and much of the Offley Spencer shenanigans are posted on her social media accounts. She has muscled her way into a honorary position with the Offley Place security staff purely to have access to their equipment.

Some of the Offley Place staff think her endless energy is due to caffiene consumption, but others wonder if there isn't something harder in play due to the seemingly inexhaustible amount of it she seems to have.

Likes: Computers and technology, social media, coffee and energy drinks
Dislikes: Outdated tech, tea because she thinks it's stuffy and too old school
Benefit of playing Dafne: You will have the most information about all the other players in this scenario.

Lord Emil Spencer AKA The Anti-Basil: Heir apparent to the Baronetcy and youngest of the Offley Spencers, Lord Emil is just eighteen years old and the most spoiled of them all. Vain and egotistical, Emil is used to being the center of attention in every regard, though has little actual value beyond a bloodline to warrant such treatment.

Emil attracts mostly the female equivalent of him and as such, has yet to have a lasting relationship with a girl. He's not too concerned though as he's young still, and believes he has all the time in the world and should clearly have the pick of the litter in terms of women who would help him continue the Offley Spencer legacy.

Likes: Polo, drinking, social outings, recreational drugs when he can sneak them past his siblings, reminding everyone he went to Eton
Dislikes: Being told no
Benefit of playing Emil: You get to be a dick in a low key villain kinda way.

Zoe "Zed" Spencer: Only child of Beanina "Bean" Spencer, Zoe was taken into Offley Place after her mother died of an aggressive form of cancer. Beanina raised Zoe alone, and Zoe doesn't actually know who her father is. She suspects Dinis knows, though he denies this.

Fresh out of secondary school, Zoe practically haunts the halls of Offley Place, avoiding her other cousins as best she can and holing up in her room. She occasionally takes meals with the rest of the clan purely for familial peace.

Zoe is shy and introverted, and not much is known about her personal interests by the rest of the family. She spends a fair amount of time on her tablet.

Zoe is the only Spencer child at Offley Place not referred to by a courtesy title.
Likes: Being alone. For this reason, hobbies unknown.
Dislikes: The rest of the Spencer family, but doesn't admit to it
Benefit of playing Zoe: Most to build with as she's the least fleshed out

Already claimed, but being posted as a point of reference:

Lady Augusta "Gus" Spencer: Eldest child of Sir Dinis Spencer, twenty-three years old. The first of a series of attempts at bringing an heir to sire, Gus was the pride and joy of their father, until better things came along. Things named Beatriz and Catia, then Dafne, and finally, Emil.

Sir Dinis has made no small task of reminding Gus how disappointing they are to him.

Gus does not respond to their title anymore, nor their birth name, though they haven't gone as far as insisting to be called Lord, nor legally changing their name. Gus prefers they/them pronouns, and prefers the romantic company of ladies.
Likes: Bourbon and cigars, fast cars, masculine clothing
Dislikes: Their only brother, Lord Emil. Reasons obvious.

There are some stipulations therein with these characters.

1 - Physically, they should have some similarities to Basil and Edmond, though they do not have to be carbon copies considering they have yet another breech in genetics from Basil, their own mother.
2 - None of these characters are public mutants. However, if you become particularly fond of your choice, I would allow you to keep them and move them to the University next school year, under the stipulation that their mutancy be something easy to hide.

I'll keep this open for interest for a few days before continuing on with the plot.

[Hugo Ealdwine]

Hugo Ealdwine: One of a line beholden to the Offley-Spencers, Hugo serves Lady Augusta Spencer as bodyguard, driver (when Gus doesn't insist on enjoying fast cars), and, on frequent occasion, chef.

Hugo is a serious, uncomplicated soul who is chiefly driven by his sense of duty.

Likes: Doing his duty, cooking, pastry, dogs.
Dislikes: Gus taking unnecessary risks and those who don't give them due respect. Sir Dinis, but doesn't dare speak up about it to anyone other than Gus.
