Name: Sean Hall
Hometown: Birmingham, England
Age: 18
Major: History and Environmental Sciences
Powers: Sean is a sorcerer. He can channel the energy of the universe for a variety of purposes through the use of spells.
Personality: Kind, and fair minded to those he meets. He is incredibly loyal to his family, and his friends sometimes to his own detriment. There's something boiling beneath the surface that comes out when he's pushed too far and it frightens him.
Description: About 5'10, short brown hair, fit, tanned, with rather striking golden eyes, and a beard. Often seen in more outdoorsy or work clothes (flannel, jeans, work boots, etc). He seems to exude a vital strength.
Background: Sean was orphaned at a young age. He was adopted by somewhat affluent British family of mutants who treated him well. From a young age he has an uncanny understanding of all things magical even without an actual teacher, which lead to the occasional SNAFU particularly when he was younger (a shed would explode or a spell would backfire leading to singed eyebrows and very frightened family pets). His parents being mutants weren’t bothered by his abilities, though they preferred it when he didn't accidentally turn the family dog into a cat, even though they didn’t fully understand. Despite his apparently non-intrusive “mutation” both he and his parents decided that XU was his best option for higher education being a place that offered him an outlet for his powers and a space where he could be around people who had powers.
Sean has nightmares most nights, but what student at XU isn’t troubled? Especially one that was found on the steps of a church covered in blood?
Sean spent his early life hiding his magical abilities by pretending to be a mutant and his parents supported this. This makes for him still not being entirely comfortable talking about magic with the non-magical.
Sean has an otherwise clean background, and an impeccable academic record. A result of his parents helping him get into an extremely selective private school. While at school he was part of the fencing team, played cricket, and was a volunteer with multiple outdoor education programs.
