Power: Yuli has a mix of physical mutation and power alternation. She is part Beastkin by DNA so she has ears and a tail that are animalistic. She would say that is just a part of her. Her mutation is an erasure ability simply called Deletion, but it is a form of erasure. She erases not people nor life, but what defines and records life.

Deletion
Yuli can delete things. Ink from paper, files from hard drives, color from hair, memory from cell phones, and films from DVDs are a few ideas. It does not work on living organisms that she is aware of. Due to her lack of cultivation, she can not select what parts to erase. It’s all or partial. If she concentrates, she can erase things layer by layer. This is touch activated. She does not have training to time it. Right now it is permanent deletion of something off of another. There is one degree of separation. She has erased text off a page, but has not tried deleting one page from a book. Her abilities can go far, as she is not aware that her powers are deleting the Primal Virus (Animus Strain) from her body, keeping her from becoming a full beastkin. She cannot erase a door, wall, not person. She can erase the color from non-living items, not the germs off them because germs are living. (Full power disclosure at the bottom)

Beastkin Abilities
She is endowed with the skills and abilities of a Fennec Fox. Her ears are testament of this. Large and capable of hearing for great distances and high sounds, she often wears earplugs when wandering around. Her tail is fluffy rather than long, keeping her balance without getting in the way. She is able to move fast and run faster thanks to her DNA. She has increased along with jumping capabilities. At this moment, she does not have a form that makes her human self more animalistic.


Personality: Seemingly tame, there are a plethora of emotions, thoughts, and instincts that go through this mutant every moment of the day. Many times she seems like she doesn’t care unless a challenge is involved. She never backs down from one, even if she never tried the thing before. She’s desperate to prove herself. Like most technocrats in her life, she is bent on leaving a good impression behind on others.
Memories are the most precious thing to her. She loves verbal forms of communication rather than written ones. Voice memos are her favorite, as is music and time keeping. She’s all about going out and living life. Experiencing it first hand is the pinnacle of living large to her. She still has the skills to pick up on technology like it was nothing. She could easily get absorbed in games and a phone.

She’s logical, but her logic is defined by a post-apocalyptic time at least 300 years in the future. It’s rare when she’s genuinely happy. When she’s winning she is ecstatic. She often needs to operate with some kind of purpose, else she is lazy and self-absorbed. Star gazing is a favorite hobby, but she often just does what she needs to accomplish her goals.


Description: If she were fully human, she would look like this. Without her ears, she stands at 5’7” ( 170.18 cm) weighing around 155lbs ( 70.3 kg). Her skin is bronze in color with almond shaped amber eyes. Yuli’s hair is in a funky bob cut, naturally white with cerise red and black dyed streaks. She usually has blush to match the red in her hair, lipstick, and eye liner. She has fox ears. Fennic fox-like to be exact. They sit on the sides of her head and are large in size. White fur covers them, much like her tail which is on the medium size, thick with white fur and a black tip. She usually wears active clothes. She loves shorts. Even in the winter time she wears leggings with her shorts. She usually wears a combo of white, pink, black, and blue. She usually always wears boots as well. She looks put together and fashionable. She wears black gloves that are white where her fingertips are.


Background:
Her history begins roughly 300 years in the future. There are a few key events that take place from the environment of the Xavier University to life as she knows it:

~10 years from now: Dr. Muto releases the Primal Virus (Animus Strain) that makes those with the X-Gene adapt beastlike forms and become feral.
~25 years from now: Anti-Primal/Mutant sentiment peaks in a large massacre that kills many mutants (and non-mutants). Non-feral mutants retreat to a living island while feral mutants and humans fight against each other.
~50 years from now: Survivors name the crisis “The Wilding.” Some humans embrace Primals. Living island becomes gateway for interdimensional travel causing many non-feral mutants to leave the planet.
~100 years from now: People start completing underground enclaves. Surface gradually abandoned, left to the feral/primal mutants.
~200 yearsfrom now: The Great Split. Primalists known as “Darwinists” exist on the surface, living under Primal laws, while Technocrats cleave to what we know as society with laws, history, and documentations. Darwinists are more Earthbound and animalistic while Technocrats are for technology and humanity advancing beyond the stars.
~300 years from now: Kemet Resurgent (part of the River Cities, modern day Egypt) locate and develop a prototype ship for teleportation. They work on it in secret.
~350 years from now: Yuli’s history begins…

Yuli was born to a world of scavengers, inventors, and survivors. The Atlas mountains were her home, but she was not conceived of any of their cluster. She was actually born to Primal Darwinists who left her at the outskirts of the Atlas mountains. She was not fully a Beastkin like those Primal. The exact reasoning of her being left and picked up was unknown. All she knew was there were few like her with animal features growing up inside the mountain. She always believed something was wrong with her given how she was bullied, but those who took her in said it was just an opportunity to get better.

She had no parents. A child of the cluster, she was bounced from one group to the next. One could say they only cared that she didn’t cause harm and grew up to be of use to them, but she believes they were just trying to survive. She took interest to electronics, though it was hard to get anything to work given the degradation and destruction of towers. She still got good at games and anything she could with her sharp mind and fast reflexes. Her powers manifested when she was 10 as she defended herself.

She eventually did make it to a group of others who had “something wrong” with them. Mutants who had abilities or animal like qualities like her. She was around 10 at the time, but it was a great time to know she was not alone in her oddity. They believed her to be lucky, not just any random person with big ears, but someone blessed by the Fennec Fox. The few friends she had said it was a good thing, not hating those with animal qualities at all. With this group, they helped with trade, though only those most human looking were allowed to be seen by the other traders, just to be safe.

One day, she and the others snuck away to show her something, but they ended up getting abused by Wildings (Primals). In defending herself and another, her powers came out. She touched her attacker in a fit of fear and desperation, next thing she knew everything of the other person turned white and an immense pain coarse through her. She lost her memory of the event, but when she came to, there was uncertainty about her. The one she touched was “erased”. It was like only a husk was left. The white haired figure was seen for days after until it left. The person she was protecting seemed to have lost memory from the event, and also half their hair was left white. The group wasn’t key on kicking her out, but they were cautious of her. After a day, they regained the memory. The damage was done, regardless of what they thought. The greater Yuli's uncertainty and fear, the more visible her powers were.

She went out again to help with a trade, but another attack happened. Instead of fighting, she hid. The Wildings killed those of her group, but the people she was trading with were still alive. Instead of returning to her Den, she went with the traders, terrified and unable to face her Den with her failures. She proved good for knowing the area and was able to be a guide through the mountain area. Of those she traveled east with, Lotari stayed with her the most. The ritualist had patience and sympathy for Yuli’s plight. They at least do help her with her powers and cover for her as needed.

By the time she is 14, she makes it to the Nile Dominion, known as the Kemet Resurgent by those who are in the know. Part of the River Cities, she is made aware of the small pockets that they managed to keep safe from the Darwinists. She learns of life and the history of life spanning back to Ancient Egyptians. She is hesitant to touch anything until gifted with special gloves. She’s more confident by the time she makes it and has undergone a lot of growth. By the time she is of age (15), she is viewed as an adult and able to enlist in the defense force. She does, but she fails to make the qualifying trials. With Lotari’s sponsorship, she is brought into a special program where her mind is trained for a secret project.

It is two years before she even knows what the project was for: a time ship. Capable of flying in space, the machine was found fifty years in the past. It was worked on for the goal of going back in time to get rid of the one who caused the Animus Strain to be possible. She and others were crafted and trained to find the DNA and ultimately take out who was responsible, no matter what age they found them in. A small crew was selected, and Yuli was pleased to have a purpose. She vowed to make Lotari proud.

When in space, Yuli acted as the pilot and was in charge of pinpointing the time they were traveling to. There was a disturbance so she went to check it out, only to find a Primal mutant attacking others. They tried to stop her from going to the past. She was able to escape and make the jump to the past, but the timing wasn’t perfect. She managed to knock out the other one after getting some injuries. She managed a rough land in the UK near the North Sea, but passed out soon after. She woke up to find the one who attacked her gone. She also realized the space ship was sinking.

She managed to grab what she could before escaping and swimming to shore. From there, the lone survivor with no way to get back (that she knew of), she used the tools she had to try and find the one they were after.

Range of Deletion: Currently, Yuli is capable of working up to Stage 2 of her powers. When she is severely frightened, she may tap into Stage 3, but she has very limited control. She might just operate at state 1 or 2 instead. It's hard to say what would happen. There is chance that she works to control her powers more, but right now that is not her priority. She wants to find the one she needs to and erase them from history (via death, not using her powers this time).

Stage 1: Surface Deletion (Colors)
Limit: Small surface area, hand print. Larger takes effort
Weakness: If she pushes too hard, she can delete things she didn’t intend (e.g., text off more than one page).
Cost: If pushed too far, mental fatigue (migraines, nosebleeds, blurry vision).

Stage 2: Symbol & Data Deletion
Limit: Digital deletion that requires physical proximity. She can’t just “remote hack."
Weakness: Complex magical/tech engravings push back. If she tries to erase a large spell circle or powerful enchantment, it might lash back at her with psychic burn.
Cost: She sometimes loses fragments of her own memories when deleting encoded things.

Stage 3: Memory & Perception Deletion
Limit: She can only delete small chunks of memory (a few seconds or minutes). Trying to blank out longer stretches risks erasing more of herself.
Weakness: Targets know something is wrong as the deletion leaves “static” or “holes” in their mind. That can breed suspicion or even madness. She cannot erase the emotions fueling the memory. The memories do not stay gone. Stronger the emotions the faster they return. Time for them to be returned varies.
Cost: Her own memories are at risk. Also, she experiences echoes of the deleted memory herself. Like a ghost image of someone else’s pain, fear, or joy.

Stage 4: Genetic/Cellular Deletion (Animus Strain)
Limit: She can only suppress or delete small amounts of the Animus Strain at a time.
Weakness: Her own Primal Virus flares up when she uses this.
Cost: Extreme physical pain. Too much for her to bear. She cannot erase the Animus strain from others permanently. She can only suppress her own which happens constantly.
