The corridor leads on for a little while until they reach another large gate. Once again the bloody implant lets them through a smaller side door and into a giant hall, filled with conveyor-belts, assembly lines, most of which appear to be operating all by themselves. From the ceiling rails zig-zag across the room, carrying robotic arms and assembly-units all over the place, sometimes picking up pieces to be moved elsewhere, sometimes assisting the machinery in fitting things together. Along the walls are stacks of raw materials as well as stations where things are being cut, melted or broken down by automatic plasma-torches, furnaces or lasers. The entire room is one big mess of activity, things often zipping past one another with only an inch to spare. Here gun casings are being pressed into molds, there giant armor plates are being moved around to be finished elsewhere. One assembly line appears to be entirely encased in clear plexiglass while intricate machinery etches processor-wafers into large discs. Here and there cavemen are standing, assisting the machinery, moving even more robotically than their counterparts outside. All in all the hall is enormous and to some extent modular. Still, there seem to be general sections. Munition, large-scale manufacturing, high-energy-physics (whatever that exactly is), circuitry and electronics, generators and power modules. Anything that one might need to outfit a high-tech army, all almost entirely automated.
