The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days. The nearby stables are still maintained with a number of well-heeled equines.
"I talked to Isolde before I left. She said the woman at the Raven's Crest may have a deal with the thing that's after Wanda. But she also think she's hedged her bets and is probably counting on the plan not being successful."
"Yeah, she has a pretty good smile," Tereza nods, "And I do want her to be happy, regardless." She sighs, "Hopefully now we can at least make some sort of peace."
"Not really, no, but still. Don't push it if you're not ready..." She sighs and rubs the bridge of her nose, "And there I go, treating you like glass again."
"I can't really explain what happened. I just know I got ambushed and then I woke up in some sort of... thing. And then it was all full moon and wolf."
"I'm glad," she says, relaxing. "I was... lost for a while. She was so spooked that there was no taming her. I never want her to be that spooked again."
"Alright. Give me a couple of days to process and then we'll hit the Danger Room." She looks a little sheepish as she follows up with, "Are you going home for the holidays?"
"Well..." She ponders, "I'm a little concerned about leaving Isolde by herself. Not that I think we would bring her with. Just, you know, I feel responsible for her in some weird way."
"I mean, I get that introducing Mum to the woman who turned my girlfriend into a werewolf is a bridge too far, but what do you think is going to happen?"
"I don't know. Nothing specific I suppose. I just feel like she's my responsibility. Pawning her off on someone else feels... wrong. But no, I certainly wouldn't want her to go with us."
