The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days. The nearby stables are still maintained with a number of well-heeled equines.
Sam shows up a bit earlier than Tereza asked, wearing the dress she was given. She's not perfectly put together, but an effort has been clearly made, with her hair up in a bun that only a few stray locks have escaped. She also has a faint smell of blood about her, but the band-aid on her ankle might explain that.
Tereza is standing next to the car, flipping idly through her phone as she waits. She's dressed to Sam, her hair loose and actually somewhat styled, lacking some of its usual wildness. She looks up as Sam approaches and smiles, "You're early."
"I'll keep that in mind," she says, shutting the door and moving to get into the car herself. The veins on her arms are glowing softly as she gets into the driver's seat and coaxes the car to life, pulling out of the garage.
Tereza blinks and misses an empty parking space before she recovers with a soft "Damn it." Then she quickly adds, "Not about your news! That's great. Well, great-ish."
"The neighborhood does have a certain appeal." She confirms their reservation and they're shown to their table, "I thought trying new things might be nice."
"Time and a place, right? I'm trying to teach her that too," she says, tapping the side of her head. "Not that I couldn't stand to learn that a bit myself."
